Oakley to kick off the 2012 Coca-Cola Indonesian Surfing Championship and Asian Surfing Championship Tours with the Oakley Pro 12 at Canggu Beach, Bali from 1st April 2012.
An industry leader in the action sports market, Oakley is pleased to announce the dates and venue for the Oakley Pro, the annual opening event for the Coca-Cola Indonesian Surfing Championship Tour. The 6 star event will again be hosted at the fabled Canggu Beach, Bali, Indonesia from the 1st to 14th April.
The Coca-Cola Indonesian Surfing Championships has become the primary driver of the development of professional surfing in the region. With the continued popularity and growth of surfing through South East Asia, Oakley have once again worked with the ISC to extend access to the Oakley Pro 12 to surfers throughout SE Asia via inclusion in the new Asian Surfing Championships Series.
“Oakley has been instrumental in the growth of Surfing in Indonesia and beyond” stated Coca-Cola Indonesian Surfing Championship CEO Tipi Jabrik. “They were the first company to commit to the newly developed Asian Tour and set the standard for last year, culminating in being awarded Best Event for 2011.
